Latest Research Outcomes
The project "FATE-Amazônia" (Fire-Associated Transient Emissions) with a title in portuguese: “Quantificação de áreas florestais queimadas e modelagem de emissões de carbono: Proposta de um sistema de monitoramento integrado para a Amazônia”, led by TREES' researchers in collaboration with the Federal University of Ouro Preto, INPA, UFAC, Univ. of Lancaster and EMBRAPA was one of the 14 projects selected for funds within CNPq call for proposals: MCTI/CNPq/FNDCT – Ação Transversal - nº 68/2013 – Programa de Grande Escala da Biosfera-Atmosfera na Amazônia – LBA.
The project "Understanding the response of photosynthetic metabolism in tropical forests to seasonal climate variations" led by TREES' researchers in collaboration with the Department of Energy, USA and the Federal University of Amazonas was one of the six projects selected for funds to be part of a major scientific program in Amazonia - GOAMAZON2014.
